Anyone regret moving to Franklin Park?

OK so I'm a teacher here and It's a a small town city with about 18,233 people. You can expect to pay around $1,103 for rent here. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Am I wrong here?

I've lived in Highland for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Salt Lake City, I was surprised by nightlife. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good internet infrastructure
- The public transit scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Bugs and humidity in summer
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for couples. Good luck with whatever you decide..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it was the best decision I ever made. Internet is decent in most areas.

We moved here with our family and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Schools in Maple Ridge area are average. Kids love it here.
