Random thought, I'm a college student here and You can expect to pay around $2,074 for rent here. Crime rate is something to consider -Franklin Park sits at 743.9 per 100K. The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Appreciate any input. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
