Remote worker thinking about Franklin Square
Random thought, I've been here for 2 years and Crime rate is something to consider -Franklin Square sits at 119.0 per 100K. Worth the trade-offs?

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from Austin and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Cedar Grove. It's surprisingly good for what you get.
Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in legal. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.
People: Generally solid. It took about 3 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like Indian.
Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
