Cost of living reality check -Franklin
We're a young couple and Rent is about $1,861/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 1.6%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $115,000, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's a a smaller city city with about 85,575 people. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Am I overthinking this? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
