Job market in Franklin — what industries are hiring?

I'm in education and considering a move to Franklin, TN. How's the job market there? The unemployment rate shows 1.6% which seems pretty good. But what does it actually look like on the ground?

Is it easy to network and find opportunities?

I've lived in Downtown for 15 years and it's still one of the best decisions I made.

As someone who moved here from Phoenix, I can confirm most of this. The job opportunities surprised me the most.

Moved here last year. No regrets. So many outdoor activities.

Downtown is overrated and overpriced. The suburbs offer way better value.

I work in logistics and finding a job wasn't hard. Took about 5 months.

Public transit needs work but they're investing in it. Should improve in next few years.

Can confirm the safety issue. But it really depends on the neighborhood. Highland Park and Riverside are perfectly safe.

I'd add that healthcare options are better than most cities this size. Otherwise spot on!

I'd add that the school system has been improving steadily. Otherwise spot on!
