Working remotely from Franklin — my experience

I've been working remotely from Franklin for 12 years now. Here's my take:

The pace of life here is perfect for remote work. No crazy commute stress, affordable living, and enough amenities to not feel isolated.

Cost of living: pretty reasonable
Internet: Fiber available in most areas — no complaints
Coworking spaces: Limited but the library works in a pinch

If you're looking for a place to WFH, Franklin is worth considering.

I'd add that healthcare options are better than most cities this size. Otherwise spot on!

For families, I'd recommend looking at Highland Park. Schools are rated well and it's quiet.

Public transit needs work but they're investing in it. Should improve in next few years.

Rent tip: look for places in January-February. Prices drop and there's more availability.
