Not sure if this has been asked before, but I grew up here but left for a while. The median home value here is around $193,600, which is actually reasonable. The unemployment rate is 3.4%, which is pretty low. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development.
