My experience has been mostly positive. it was the best decision I ever made. The only thing I'd watch out for is pet-friendliness. Other than that, Feel free to reach out with questions..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a HR manager who relocated here from Houston about 13 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and quality of life.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Strong job market in several industries
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Rising rent and home prices

Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are competitive, gas is hit or miss.

Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
