Best neighborhoods in Frederick for families?

We have two kids (5 and 6) and are looking for a family-friendly neighborhood in Frederick. Budget is around $1688/month for rent. We prioritize good schools and safety. Any recommendations?

Also, are there good parks and activities for kids in the area?

Downtown is overrated and overpriced. The suburbs offer way better value.

If you can afford it, Cedar Hills is the best place to live. Period.
