Moving to Frederick with kids -good idea?

Homes are going for about $365,200 on average. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Am I overthinking this? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

I've been living here for 15 years and I'd say it's exactly what I was looking for. The food scene is challenging compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 15 years ago from San Diego and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Oak Park. It's underrated for what you get.

Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in real estate. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.

People: Generally excellent. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like sushi.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..
