Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm originally from Kansas City and Homes are going for about $442,800 on average. You can expect to pay around $1,364 for rent here. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. What would you do? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
