Hello, I'm a 42-year-old pharmacist and The unemployment rate is 2.5%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $57,474, which feels about average for the area. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Bought a house here in 2018 and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's been a really good experience overall. The only thing I'd watch out for is pet-friendliness. Other than that, Good luck with whatever you decide..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a data analyst who relocated here from Miami about 5 years ago. The main reasons were weather and family.
Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Close to major attractions
Cons that are real:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Homeless population growing downtown
Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are affordable, gas is tough.
Socially, it's been a really good experience overall. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
