Longtime lurker here, I'm retired and Household incomes average around $85,368 in Fredericksburg. Homes are going for about $461,500 on average. The unemployment rate is 3.1%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $461,500, which is pretty steep. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. Let me know your thoughts. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up.
