Moving from Orlando to Freehold next month

Anyone else feel this way? Rent is about $1,818/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $1,818 for rent here. With a population of 12,504, Freehold is a small town. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Any advice would be great. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. I work in retail here and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The job market for my field is better than expected. Definitely worth checking out..

I'm a contractor and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The community is hit or miss and there's always something going on.
