Why I chose Freehold over bigger cities
I'm single, late 50s, and Poverty rate is 9.6%, which is pretty low. It's a a small town city with about 12,504 people. Crime rate is something to consider -Freehold sits at 232.5 per 100K. Homes are going for about $401,900 on average. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

- Rising rent prices
- Limited nightlife
- Few job opportunities in some fields
- Far from major airports
