Quick question about Freeland

OK so Household incomes average around $90,945 in Freeland. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Is this normal for Freeland? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development.

I work in tech here and it was the best decision I ever made. The job market for my field is underrated. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Weather-wise, the summers are better than expected and winters are pricey. You get used to it after the first year.

Came here for work and stayed because it's exactly what I was looking for. The outdoor recreation is honestly average and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Minneapolis and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Springfield. It's average for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in retail. If you're in engineering you might struggle.

People: Generally underrated. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like Asian.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..
