Planning a move to Freeport -neighborhoods?

Hey, Born and raised here. Crime rate is something to consider -Freeport sits at 368.5 per 100K. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What do you all think? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are challenging, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
