Is Fremont getting better or worse?

Hey folks, I work in food service and Median household income is $176,350, which feels pretty solid for the area. The median home value here is around $1,289,400, which is pretty steep. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Am I overthinking this? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
