Considering Fremont vs Seattle -help me decide

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Household incomes average around $67,179 in Fremont. Median household income is $67,179, which feels about average for the area. With a population of 27,321, Fremont is a smaller city. Crime rate is something to consider -Fremont sits at 184.8 per 100K. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Am I overthinking this? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from Boston and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Midtown. It's surprisingly good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in marketing. If you're in government you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like BBQ.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..
