Freelancing from Fremont -experience?

Hi all, Born and raised here. It's a a smaller city city with about 27,321 people. Poverty rate is 7.1%, which is pretty low. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Worth the trade-offs?

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want weather, then yeah this place is great. But if school system matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. the quality of life is solid. Compared to New York it's excellent.
