Is Fresno good for remote workers?

Hey, We have two kids and Crime rate is something to consider -Fresno sits at 183.3 per 100K. It's a a small town city with about 24,087 people. The suburbs are where most families end up. What are your go-to spots? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

As someone who grew up here, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. A lot has changed in the past few years though. cultural scene used to be much reasonable but now it's tough.
