Random thought, With a population of 210K, Frisco is a mid-size city. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Any help is appreciated. The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

I've lived in East for about 14 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from Houston, I was surprised by dating scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good schools in most areas
- The walkability scene is tough
The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Homeless population growing downtown
Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for retirees. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
