First post here. Rent is about $1,133/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $64,025 in Front Royal. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Weather-wise, the summers are excellent and winters are growing. You get used to it after the first year.

Moved here from Chicago about 5 years ago. it's been a really good experience overall. Still getting used to weather but It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Public transit is better than expected here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's not perfect but it works for me.
