Been meaning to ask this. I'm a 28-year-old firefighter and It's a a small town city with about 15,152 people. Crime rate is something to consider -Front Royal sits at 182.6 per 100K. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
