What's it really like living in Front Royal?
Alright, Been living here since 2018. It's a a small town city with about 15,152 people. Median household income is $64,025, which feels about average for the area. Rent is about $1,133/month for a decent place. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Is this normal for Front Royal? The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up.
