Alright, We have two kids and You can expect to pay around $1,727 for rent here. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. What neighborhoods would you suggest? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The city has invested a lot in new development. The city has invested a lot in new development.

I've lived in Lakewood for about 6 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from Salt Lake City, I was surprised by food scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Good healthcare facilities
- The job market scene is challenging
The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Chain restaurants dominate
Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for remote workers. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want cost of living, then yeah this place is great. But if cultural scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
