Life in Fruitville as a young professional

Hey folks, Been living here since 2016. Poverty rate is 7.0%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $86,500 in Fruitville. Median household income is $86,500, which feels pretty solid for the area. With a population of 15,828, Fruitville is a small town. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development. What do you all think? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

I've lived in Downtown for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Charlotte, I was surprised by food scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Good healthcare facilities
- The pet-friendliness scene is solid

The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Rising rent and home prices

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for young professionals. Feel free to reach out with questions..
