Cheapest neighborhoods in Fuller Heights?

Been meaning to ask this. I'm a college student here and The median home value here is around $262,000, which seems about average. Average temperature is around 73--F, so it's warm year-round. You can expect to pay around $1,416 for rent here. Household incomes average around $80,021 in Fuller Heights. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

Pros:
- Low crime in most areas
- Good schools
- Diverse community
- Active local events

Cons:
- Limited dining options
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Not enough green space
The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. healthcare used to be much manageable but now it's average.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value walkability, you'll love it. The pet-friendliness is genuinely hit or miss and I've found the quality of life is solid. My neighborhood (Midtown) is reasonable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Tampa, be prepared for the culture shock. food scene is completely different here. And Rising rent and home prices.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
