Hey folks, Homes are going for about $262,000 on average. The unemployment rate is 3.1%, which is pretty low. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Does this match your experience? The food scene here is surprisingly good.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.
I've been here 2 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is weather. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the food scene is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is underrated.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Fairview side vs the East side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Came here for family and stayed because it exceeded my expectations. The school system is honestly improving and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
