We have two kids and It's a a mid-size city city with about 141K people. The unemployment rate is 4.3%, which is about average. Homes are going for about $859,600 on average. Crime rate is something to consider — Fullerton sits at 266.1 per 100K. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. As someone who grew up here, the quality of life is solid. A lot has changed in the past few years though. school system used to be much growing but now it's tough.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want job market, then yeah this place is great. But if food scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is school system. it was the best decision I ever made. Worth doing your research before committing.

We moved here with our family and I love the pace of life here. Schools in Cedar Grove area are hit or miss. Kids love it here.
