Working remotely from Fulshear

Poverty rate is 2.0%, which is pretty low. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Anyone in a similar situation? The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Used to live on the The Heights side, now on the Springfield side. Completely different vibe. I'm still on the fence after all this time.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are surprisingly good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's been a really good experience overall. Definitely worth checking out..
