Moving to Fulton with kids -good idea?

Curious what people think. I'm a teacher here and You can expect to pay around $831 for rent here. The unemployment rate is 4.7%, which is about average. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Hot take but it's exactly what I was looking for. I know a lot of people disagree but after 11 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.

I've been here 10 years and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The thing nobody mentions is outdoor recreation. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the traffic is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is excellent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Springfield side vs the South side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Definitely worth checking out..
