What Fulton does better than anywhere else

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Poverty rate is 18.5%, which is higher than I expected. Median household income is $52,123, which feels on the lower side for the area. It's a a small town city with about 11,339 people. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Pros:
- Affordable cost of living
- Great weather
- Low crime in most areas
- Good schools

Cons:
- Sprawl everywhere
- Lack of diversity
- Few job opportunities in some fields
Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Miami and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Fairview. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in government. If you're in government you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 11 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.

Feel free to reach out with questions..

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. food scene used to be much pricey but now it's surprisingly good.
