Not sure if this has been asked before, but The median home value here is around $322,300, which seems about average. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are pretty good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

As someone who grew up here, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. A lot has changed in the past few years though. outdoor recreation used to be much competitive but now it's challenging.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is walkability. I genuinely enjoy living here. Worth doing your research before committing.
