Relocating to Gainesville, FL — pros and cons?

Hi all, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and You can expect to pay around $1,214 for rent here. The unemployment rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $45,611, which feels on the lower side for the area. It's a a mid-size city city with about 144K people. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
