Quick question about Gainesville

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Been living here since 2009. Rent is about $1,234/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 2.2%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $337,000 on average. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. As someone who grew up here, it exceeded my expectations. A lot has changed in the past few years though. cost of living used to be much established but now it's decent.
