Anyone work in healthcare in Gainesville?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a college student here and Crime rate is something to consider -Gainesville sits at 49.9 per 100K. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Moved here from San Francisco about 6 years ago. it's not perfect but it works for me. Still getting used to nightlife but Hope this helps!.
