The good and bad of living in Gaithersburg
Been living here since 2021. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Am I overthinking this?

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Raleigh and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Highland. It's pretty good for what you get.
Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in legal. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.
People: Generally solid. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like Indian.
No regrets on my end..
