What to expect moving to Galion?

So, Should I be concerned? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Weather-wise, the summers are surprisingly good and winters are wild. You get used to it after the first year.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a contractor who relocated here from Denver about 7 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Decent public transit for the size
- Strong job market in several industries

Cons that are real:
- Can feel isolated
- Limited shopping options

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are competitive, gas is underrated.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Moved here from Boston about 11 years ago. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Still getting used to walkability but It's not for everyone but it works for us..
