Why I chose Gallatin over bigger cities

Alright, Born and raised here. You can expect to pay around $1,299 for rent here. Poverty rate is 8.5%, which is pretty low. With a population of 46,667, Gallatin is a smaller city. Homes are going for about $343,700 on average. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
