Moving to Garden City with kids -good idea?

We're a young couple and With a population of 12,483, Garden City is a small town. It's a a small town city with about 12,483 people. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. What would you do?

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem hit or miss.

I've been here 2 years and it's been a really good experience overall. The thing nobody mentions is cost of living. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into skiing, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Midtown side vs the Westside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
