How are the schools in Garden City?

Anyone else feel this way? Household incomes average around $72,511 in Garden City. The unemployment rate is 2.9%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $186,200, which is actually reasonable. With a population of 27,781, Garden City is a smaller city. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Does this match your experience? Looking forward to hearing from you all.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from Nashville and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Springfield. It's decent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in real estate. If you're in legal you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 11 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's not perfect but it works for me. Internet is tough in most areas.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is weather. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Worth doing your research before committing.
