Relocating to Garden City, MI -pros and cons?

So, I grew up here but left for a while. Homes are going for about $162,400 on average. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 12 years and it was the best decision I ever made. The thing nobody mentions is nightlife. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the traffic is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is decent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Eastside side vs the Midtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
