Top 5 things I love about Garden City Park

Alright, Rent is about $2,546/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $2,546 for rent here. With a population of 8,176, Garden City Park is a small town. Average temperature is around 56--F, so the weather is moderate. Poverty rate is 1.7%, which is pretty low. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Pros:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Walkable downtown
- Active local events

Cons:
- High property taxes
- Few job opportunities in some fields
- Boring for young people
- Far from major airports
Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
