Not sure if this has been asked before, but What neighborhoods would you suggest?

My experience has been mostly positive. it's not perfect but it works for me. The only thing I'd watch out for is community vibe. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Moved here from Atlanta about 4 years ago. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Still getting used to safety but Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a physical therapist who relocated here from Miami about 15 years ago. The main reasons were weather and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Decent public transit for the size
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Can feel isolated

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are reasonable, gas is improving.

Socially, the quality of life is solid. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Public transit is tough here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's improved dramatically in recent years.
