So, I'm a college student here and Median household income is $93,345, which feels pretty solid for the area. You can expect to pay around $1,803 for rent here. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Am I wrong here? Looking forward to hearing from you all. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

I've lived in Riverside for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Seattle, I was surprised by dating scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Four distinct seasons
- The housing market scene is surprisingly good
The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Property taxes are high
