With a population of 59,765, Gardena is a smaller city. It's a a smaller city city with about 59,765 people. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Should I be concerned? Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
