Gardena job market vs Las Vegas

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a 46-year-old marketing manager and Household incomes average around $79,291 in Gardena. It's a a smaller city city with about 59,765 people. Average temperature is around 65--F, so the weather is moderate. You can expect to pay around $1,761 for rent here. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 8 years ago from Charlotte and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Old Town. It's tough for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in marketing. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Asian.

Good luck with whatever you decide..
