Things Gardner needs to improve

The unemployment rate is 3.2%, which is pretty low. Poverty rate is 5.7%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Gardner sits at 144.0 per 100K. Household incomes average around $92,579 in Gardner. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Has anyone dealt with this? Appreciate any input. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Property taxes are high but you get good services. If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I genuinely enjoy living here. Internet is excellent in most areas.

Bought a house here in 2023 and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

Used to live on the Maple Ridge side, now on the Fairview side. Completely different vibe. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.
