Things Gardnerville needs to improve

I've been here for 6 years and Average temperature is around 50--F, so expect cold winters. You can expect to pay around $1,508 for rent here. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Am I wrong here? TIA! Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem challenging.

I've been here 8 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is cost of living. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the food scene is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Cedar Grove side vs the Downtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
